CCDL/OB: On and Off Lead O.B. and Civil Portion:
Dog must be on a 6ft. lead and wearing a flat collar. Dog and handler will begin by heeling at a normal pace down a simulated corridor approximately 4’ wide and 20’ long. At the midway point the K-9 will be required to jump a 2’ hurdle and not break stride with his handler.
At the end of the simulated corridor K-9 and handler will execute a right hand turn and will continue heeling to a 3’x3’ square midway of the next 20’ corridor. K-9 will be required to remain in the 3’x3’ in a sit stay position while the handler continues walking to the end of the simulated corridor. When the handler reaches the end of the corridor a passerby wearing a bite suit will approach and walk past the K-9. K-9 must not break in his position. The handler will then call his K-9 to him. K-9 must end up in a sit position at the side of his handler.
K-9 and handler will then continue in a heel position again in a 4’ x 20’ corridor. At the midway point Handler will stop his K-9 and put him in a down stay position. Handler will leave his K-9 and walk to the end of the corridor. Once at the end of the corridor handler will up sit his K-9 and recall him. Handler will down K-9 at the halfway point of the recall. At this point two men wearing bite suits will step out from a blind and proceed past the handler and then the K-9. When the men are well past the K-9 the handler will recall his K-9 to the sit position at his side. K-9 must not break or molest in any way….

CCDL/OB: Off lead portion for OB and Civil:
Handler will enter the field with K-9 on 6’ Lead and go to the designated starting position.
Handler will then remove all equipment from K-9. Handler will heel his K-9 through a simulated corridor for 20ft. Handler will then reverse his direction and continue back down the simulated corridor at a fast pace. Once at the end of the corridor handler and K-9 will execute a left turn and continue to a 3’x3’ square midway of the simulated corridor. Handler will down his K-9 and leave his K-9 in the down stay position and will enter a blind at the end of the corridor where he will remain for 60 seconds.
K-9 must not break. At the end of the 60 seconds Handler will recall K-9 from behind the blind. K-9 must return to handler behind the blind.
K-9 and Handler team will then proceed to the center of the field. In the center of the field there will be a 3’x3’ box. Handler will put his dog in a sit stay position. A man wearing a bite suit will approach and stop 3 feet from the Handler and K-9. He will converse for 60 seconds, shake hands and continue past the Handler and K-9 team. The K-9 must remain in the sit position the entire time.
Handler will then leave K-9 in the 3’x3’ square and will return to the starting position.
Once Handler has returned to the starting position he will then recall his K-9.
K-9 must return to the Handler and end up in sitting position.

Scenario # 1 Two –Man Attack 2’ Lead
K-9 and handler team will begin by walking down a simulated corridor. Two men will approach them without weapons wearing bite suits. K-9 will be alerted to watch and must obviously be on guard by barking and showing signs of aggression towards the two men. The men will rapidly advance on the K-9 and handler in an aggressive threatening manner. K-9 must eliminate each of the attackers by engaging in a bite and releasing on command. K-9 and handler have 30 seconds to complete and pass this phase.
Scenario # 2 Three-Man Attack: 6’ Lead
K-9 and handler will be in the center of the field. Three agitators will advance and circle the K-9 and handler. Weapons will be sticks and bats. K-9 will be alerted to watch and should be barking and/or baring teeth. Each agitator will be allowed to strike the K-9 once. The agitators will attack one at a time. The K-9 will be required to bite each attacker upon command. Handler will be required to call his K-9 out of the bite in order to engage the next attacker. The K-9 must bite and come out of all three bites to pass this phase. K-9 and handler have 45 seconds to complete and pass this phase.
Scenario # 3 Gunfire in blind: Off Lead
K-9 and handler will be at the end of a 100ft. field in a 3’x3’ box. At the other end of the field a man with a pistol will step out of a blind, fire a pistol and run back into the blind. Handler will send his K-9 and at the same time the agitator will fire the pistol again. The K-9 must go downfield into the blind and take the bite; Handler will then out and recall his dog to a sit position. Handler cannot step out of the 3’x3’ box he started in. K-9 and handler have 45 seconds to pass and complete this phase.
Scenario # 4 Muzzle & Wall: 6’ Lead
K-9 will be fitted properly with a leather muzzle. Handler and K-9 will be walking in the direction of a 12’ long and 8’ high wall. When approximately 50ft. away from the wall a man wearing a ski mask will come over the wall and fire a pistol. Handler will remove 6’ lead and send his K-9. K-9 must eliminate the man by bumping or banging or knocking the man to the ground. Handler will recall the dog and collect him in a professional manner.
*K-9 must be called off in this phase. K-9 and handler have 45 seconds to complete and pass this phase.
Scenario # 5 Command and Food Refusal: 6’ Lead
Handler will be seated in a chair. K-9 will be on a 6’ lead in a sit or down position. A man will approach wearing street clothes. He will attempt to sweet talk the K-9 and will entice the K-9 with a bit of food. After the food has been refused by the K-9 the agitator will begin to give the K-9 three separate commands. Example: “sit”, “down”, “come”. If K-9 accepts the food or obeys a command, the scenario will end at that time.
*K-9 must refuse the food and commands to complete and pass this phase.
